Latest PTO News
The PTO-provided dinner for teachers and staff during
Parent Teacher Conferences was a huge success!! Thank you to all of you who
brought food in for this event. A big thank you to Paula Pease who coordinated
it - you did such a great job! The teachers and staff made and signed a
wonderful thank you card for PTO - be sure to check it out in our display case
in front of the office.
Last chance for T-shirts and sweatshirts! Order is extended until Friday,
November 16th.
PTO meeting Thursday, Nov. 15th at 7:00pm in the LHMS
Library.
We will be having a Family Game Night on Thursday, Nov.
29th from 7-8:30. If you are interested in helping that night (at
the event or bringing a dessert for the cake walk), please contact Linda at
lhmspto@hotmail.com and
I will put you in touch with our coordinator, Siva Laughlin.

Welcome to the 2007-08 school year and to the LHMS PTO website! Our volunteer form was available at Registration and we hope you had a chance to check the activities that most interested you. If you didn’t receive a form, we will be happy to help you find the perfect volunteer opportunity. We have a lot of activities planned for this school year and we need you! Upcoming activities are listed below. Please feel free to contact your PTO if you have any questions.
Concessions: 2 hour shifts 3:00 – 5:00
Oct. 31
Nov 5, 7, 12, 19, 28
Dec 3, 5, 10, 12
Friday Lunch Sales: 2 hour shifts every Friday 11:00 – 1:00
Starting Sept. 14 and continuing throughout the year.

Some are strictly fundraising to support specific academic departments, some are to continue just-for-fun LHMS traditions, others support our hardworking teachers and school administration. Please see the Calendar on the website to get accurate meeting dates and times. You don't have to attend the meetings regularly to be an active PTO
volunteer.
